I received a text message about “exciting news” regarding Dr. Martinez, only to be sent an email announcing a mandatory $2,200 annual “Concierge Service” fee in order to continue seeing him. Communication is awful! Promptness is awful!! Unfortunately, I'm a new patient here, I've only seen the doctor (Dr. Fiore) once, today is my second visit and I'm already in search of new doctor! I can't even say I don't like the doctor, again, I've only seen him once. It's the office, they're awful!!! Forget about trying to get anyone on the phone, they only text! I'm genuinely disappointed with my experience with Dr. Martinez. He lacks common courtesy with patient care. He didn’t listen to understand my concerns or provide a health plan tailored to my needs, just more meds or surgery. His style is dismissive and not for the patient. He’s clearly in it for the money. Disappointed. Dr. Martinez is switching to a 'Concierge Medicine' model (MyEndoConcierge), meaning they are charging an abusive annual membership fee of $2,200 just to be seen, on top of billing insurance. My family and I are deeply disappointed. The email explicitly states this fee is required to continue as a patient. I am completely shocked by this practice. Today I received an email stating that, in order to continue as a patient, a $2,200 annual fee is now required. This fee is not covered by insurance and does not include office visits, medications, or actual medical care. It is essentially a charge just for the privilege of remaining a patient.
