I used to think randy was the best around until we really started looking at the work that was getting done. Almost every time we went to him for a repair things were forgotten or not done completely. It was always little things like a nut on an exhaust manifold or a wire hooked back up to the battery for a amplifier. BE AWARE!!!!!!!Where do I even begin! My son took his truck to Randy little over 2 years ago to get his transmission built. Paid Randy almost 7k. Had a goerend torque converter installed and some other things, on January 22, 2024 his transmission started leaking transmission fluid. Called Randy took it back, Randy inspects it calls and says the torque convertor is cooked, that it's burnt. I gave this guy 5 stars when he did my transmission build and have sent several family members and friends to him. He started off great and was someone you could count on. Then in the past year every time he has done a repair it has had to be redone. And the turn around time went from a few days to weeks to MONTHS. I would not recommend this shop to anyone I feel Randy has lost interest in working on diesel trucks and his work is proof. I've had my diesel guy do a lot of work for me in the past 4 years. He has built two transmissions for me and I have had zero issues with them did a head gasket job on my LLY. He does great quality work for a good and affordable price
