I have had Merida-curly hair ever since I was a baby, but after moving to such a dry state I felt like my curls had disappeared. A few years ago, I went to McCall for my first ever curly hair cut. I was in my early teens, anxious, insecure and was very self conscious about my hair. I never took care of it because I didn’t know what to do! Additionally, I was afraid of small talk then, so I was incredibly nervous to be in that salon chair. This was my first curly cut and I loved it! Adam was incredible. He was kind, informative, and knowledgeable. Learning to style and manage my curls really empowered me and Adam made me feel comfortable and answered all of my questions. He is an amazing teacher and I learned so much. He provided me with resources and instructions on how to follow the curl steps at home. I have never seen my curls look this good either. I left happy and confident. I highly recommend!!
