Less than 12 weeks ago my elderly mother with dementia was placed at a My Choice recommended Assisted Living facility. The transition was very hard,very sad, and very confusing for my mom. Her health suffered. Today, less than 12 weeks later, I received a call stating my mom has to move to another facility because the facility they placed her in hadn't completed all of the requirements for her insurance. My elderly father had mychoice before he went to a nursing home. Mychoice didn't do much when he was on their program. They wanted him in "assisted living" (so they could still get paid) even though the level of care he needed was beyond what he would recieve in an assisted living facility. Mychoice tried the same thing with my mother in law who needs nursing home level care also. They were very upset when I dropped them when he went to the nursing home. I like the place I am my daughter picked it out. I do not like my choice for several reasons. First of all they charge me $5000 a month and they do not leave room for any other expenses that I have the social worker I have is rude and says mean things a few days ago she said I was incompetent without any kind of experience in the field. I don’t know how she came up with that. I’m going to request a new worker because this one is just not nice.

Mychoice my case worker does not call me back. My nuse been trying to call back fir two weeks guess they just want my money very sad company. You suupvisor take side with barb collins when you read port that your caseworker's not doing their job she is i was late for an appointment this company is pretty sad when they set you up with ride van are in poor conditions rubber cords rapped around handle not secure van use to be ambalance but in poor conditions

I wish I had checked out these reviews before choosing My Choice. The nursing home expects me to pay out of pocket $$$ for services My Choice is not providing.
