Very caring and reliable
I was very pleased with the care given by the My Care Matters workers. They were friendly but professional. They knew their job and they did it with kindness and respect. I would recommend them to anyone needing 24 hour care.
My mom required 24-hr in home care after a hospital stay. She has Alzheimer's and it was determined that she could no longer be on her own. She was on the waitlist for subsidized long-care but it was going to be a wait. The caregivers from My Care Matters were excellent. We had a rotating shift of 2 caregivers per day (12 hr shifts) and got to know 4 or 5 different staff members over the last 6 months. 7 months ago, caregivers from My Care Matters were assigned to provide 24 hour care for my 94 year old husband while he waited at home for a long term care bed. He had a number of health problems, including dementia and poor mobility. His health had been declining for several years, and I had been his sole caregiver until last year, when I began receiving some respite support.
