We had a pretty awful experience with My Buddy the Plumber, and it has just been causing problem after problem for years afterward. A few years ago we had a leak in our main water line and found that it needed to be replaced. After getting a few quotes, we decided to go with My Buddy the Plumber. I was stood up two days in a row when expecting them to come to an appointment. Each day I’d call and make an appointment for the next day. They’d say the plumber would call the next morning to arrange a time. After noon I’d call to check up, only to be told they’d be there soon -they were just finishing up an appointment. Hours went by, I have places to be, and am still waiting on them. Sigh, super frustrated with the communication of My Buddy. I called yesterday and they set an appointment for today from 12-3:00. I told them I won’t be home until 1:00 and they said they would make a note. I also asked if they’d text me since I would be at work until 12:30. This is the start of the communication breakdown. I was very pleased with My Buddy the Plumber. Robert, the technician who drove all the way down from Ogden to our place in Provo, arrived at exactly the time promised and was so pleasant. He did exactly what I wanted: he provided a temporary fix for our outdoor antifreeze faucet that made a terrible, loud, vibrating noise every time we turned the faucet on.
