A complete money grab. I was happy with my diagnosis in February but have been consistently disappointed in the high costs and unnecessary appointments where I am rushed in and out even though I’m paying a premium for a full hour or half hour consultation. I’ve had to adjust my dosage a few times and this has led to even more costly appointments that not only cost over $400, but require a 50% deposit at time of booking. I emailed the week before asking if I needed to do anything, they told me they needed some results which I provided, then they cancelled my appointment the Friday before I was scheduled in for Monday. Said that I hadn’t paid the second deposit yet, which I didn’t even realise, and they didn’t even say in the email response. They also called my emergency contact to ask for the money, which seems completely inappropriate. I was emailing to get some information and to try and book an appointment. The email reception staff failed to answer one of my questions which is fine but I did have to ask the same question 3 times (which was if I could do the appointment via zoom/ phone or Telehealth ie Telepsychiatry). I wasn’t going to send a referral in to try and book in if I couldn’t do my appointment over the phone.
