Called looking for service on a mini-split system, they provided solutions, and guidance to solve the problem myself instead of just trying to sell me a new system entirely. Whether I'm able to solve it myself or not doesn't matter, the fact that they gave advice earns a lot of respect.
I called MWK Heating and Cooling last summer on a Saturday evening when it was 95 degrees out and our AC had stopped working. I honestly didn’t expect anyone to answer the phone, but to my surprise, Mike picked up right away and came by the next day, on a Sunday! He checked everything thoroughly and explained the issue clearly. The outdoor unit had been leaking for a while, and instead of patching up an old system, we decided to replace it. Our furnace quit on us in mid February in the midst of the cold snap and we called MWK to come take a look. It was after regular hours but Mike answered right away. It was nice to speak to him directly rather than a receptionist. He said he had two other calls then would see us as soon as he could. He was there in less than two hours and knew the problem immediately. He showed us how to keep it running overnight and came the next morning to install a new one for us as we decided it was best to replace it as soon as possible.... read more
Excellent and fast service. Of course when it’s minus 35 C our furnace fails. Michael came and replaced our furnace on a Sunday of the long weekend without complaint or extra charges. The warranty and service has us replacing our hot water heater and air conditioning ( this spring) thanks to great advice and really great prices.
I've called Mike 3 different times for different reasons and his service was always prompt, professional, and helpful. When you find yourself without heat, it's very stressful in our winter climate and it's great to have someone who I can trust to fix the issue!
