We do not recommend Matt Gould as a builder/general contractor We wish we did a deeper dive into him to avoid the issues we have now. We started our home build in September 2024 and our house is still not done as of March 2026. We terminated Matt in March 2026 for failure to adhere to the “time of the essence” notice to complete the house per our contract. Hi Matt. Please remove the pictures of our home built under your former business from the Gold Peak Builders website. This is a complete conflict of interest and is ill advised.....
I will begin this review by stating that I have never purchased a home, let alone built one before. I was also living in a different state during the build but I did visit the site 4 times during the build. This is a review from a novice customer. This is the last home I expect to live in, so I was looking at things from that perspective. This review comes after living in my house for a year. MWG did an excellent job when doing our build. Not only the superior quality craftmanship but the job stayed on schedule which for us was important for us. I would absolutely recommend them for any job!
