Can someone at your Schenectady facility please tell your employees to stop cutting through the parking lot next to them on Franklin Street. They speed through and have almost hit people or cars numerous times. I've asked people to stop, nobody listens.
Poor service to their members and brokers
My coverage was cancelled because I didn't respond to a request to verify my address. Called and my coverage was allegedly reestablished beginning the following month. Was told new cards would arrive by mail. Nothing came so I called and representative, who was not friendly, told me my old coverage had simply been reactivated, so I could just continue using my existing cards. In the rare event that they do pay, they typically only pay pennies on the dollar. And they jacked my rate up 2X this year. If you want actual Health Insurance, look somewhere else. If you want to give your money to someone for very very little in return, then MVP is for you.
My experience with MVP was abysmal. I was the legal guardian for my grandmother, who was declining with dementia. In June of 2023 her doctor prescribed a liquid form of metformin because I mentioned that my grandmother was choking on the pill form of the medication. MVP responded by denying the change, citing that she must experience an adverse reaction to her current medication. She was having an adverse reaction by choking on it.
