The acute rehabilitation side is excellent. The physical and occupational therapist are excellent. Can’t say the same for the sub acute side.
My mom was at MVHS St. Luke's home from June - Sept 2024. On many occasions it was nearly impossible to get a CNA to help my mom. She was lying in her own feces and urine several times...and that was just the times that I went to visit her!! Imagine what my mom endured daily!! On several occasions they didn't even cover my mom up, while blasting the Air conditioning!! I could tell my mom was freezing!! The entire time my mom was there...we NEVER got a chance to speak with a doctor, or NP! Apparently, the CNA's run everything... read more
Therapy staff is totally awesome ! They listened to my concerns and also took the time to check out any problems I had. Heather, the PT supervisor even found an abcess in my leg that had been ignored by my pcp. I can't thank them enough !
Thank you to the staff for being so kind and caring .. When I was relesed from wynn I couldn't walk ,Richard ,hailey,Becky were very very patient and kind They took there time and kept me pain free . I have been in rehab 6 times in other places prior and this is the first time I got great results ... I could lift my left leg now which I couldn't for years .. I'm not too happy with St Luke's nursing home. My bf went there for rehab and has been there 2 weeks. I told numerous aides and nurses of concerns, like he's had a headache every day and they give him tylenol that doesn't help, he has stomach pain and cant eat and is nauseous, his blood pressure has been pretty low and no doctor has checked on him, was told he'd get a shower once a week and that didnt happen until I kept asking, the floor in his room hasn't been mopped at all since hes been there,.
