I've been going to Dr Chowdhury for 40 years. He knows his patients deeply and I appreciate the fact that he is straightforward and truthful in his diagnosis. He has saved my life a couple of times during medical crisis. He is such a good man that that the same two very capable women have been with him since I started seeing him 40 years ago.
Dr. Chowdhury can be an abrasive doctor to deal with his bedside manner. He is also very antiquated in his system of care - they are not on the network with My Chart Plus or St. Francis. They use paper files. If you're seeing more than one doctor it's almost impossible for them to know what he's prescribing and doing with your care. I would not recommend him. We recently got a second opinion from another doctor and they found a problem that was not detected a year earlier by Dr. Chowdury.
