I was tailgating before an Iowa Hawkeyes football game in 2014 when I tried to intercept a football from two elementary school kids playing catch in the street but I dropped it - tripped over the football - landed on my face. A lens popped out of my eyeglasses and gashed my eye and I was maybe a little concussed because I don’t remember anything from the game. I had a complete physical scheduled for 7/16/24. This was originally scheduled back on 4/10/24 for the beginning of June. I was called and told the doctor would not be able to see me on the scheduled date so they had to re schedule. The re schedule was for today 7.16.24 . My appointment was for 3:20. When i gave the very rude lady at the counter my name she said i had to reschedule as i was 9 minutes late. If you are in perfect health, Mr. Yacoub is your guy. However if you need medical care, find a doctor.

I wish we could clone Dr. Yacoub so that everyone can experience this wonderful doctor! He is compassionate, invested, caring, empathetic, really listens, and so smart but also relatable with the way he speaks to his patients....meaning he uses "plain language" that we, non-doctors, can understand. He follows up in between appointments with his patients, he is highly highly respected by his colleagues....in fact, that is how I learned about Dr. Yacoub- through my physical therapist at UChealth.
