i had my 1972 chevy in the shop to have front end looked at. i was told it needed new front end, i was ok having replaced for 2200, the 2nd location was 2000, i took to Musser Automotive, fully intending to pay 1800-2200 dollars. Once they called and told me my truck was fixed a day later, i go to pick up and they said the cam bolt was loose and was tightened. Front end checked out good. Cost me less than 400 dollars and that included tracking down fuel wire and oil change. THE INTEGRITY AND HONESTY IS PRICELESS. TRAVIS
I always take my car here to be worked on. It's the most reasonably priced place I've gone to, but mostly, they take their time to do an outstanding job. One thing I really like is how they explain what they're going to do and why. An added bonus is the suggestions and information I get about my particular car...what to expect from it in terms of problems I might have in the future, what to watch out for, what I don't need to worry about, etc. etc. A real personal touch!
I've taken my Scion and Volvo to Musser Motorsports for years. They are honest, do great work, and explain things really well. Highly recommended.
