Worst tech ever! Tim has failed and poor communication practices, which I unfortunately experienced during consultation... He was very rude and snobby... and tried to make me feel inferior for not understanding his trades jargon. Someone needs to teach him how to effectively LISTEN and COMMUNICATE to the people he truly hopes to help. Worst experience I have ever had.
Terrible experience Terrible experience. I went to them to get my receiver fixed. It was expensive, but they "fixed" my receiver and gave it back to me with assurances that everything was working perfectly. Less than 2 months later, my receiver broke. Getting a hold of them was difficult, and once I did, they refused to stand by their work and fix my receiver for free. Trying is not the same as Doing it! Nice technician, Bill. Strange behavior by Kat, who does the emails and answers the phones. Can't understand why, but whatever. We all have our own personality issues, I guess. Sent in a Luxman CL-32 pre-amp that another shop had tried to fix and did not. Bill spent many hours on it and sent it back. Terrible service! Stay away from Music Technology! Kathy is rude. My amp sat for a month and a half, never fixed. Terrible service!
Bad ethics Recommend looking elsewhere. This is too bad, as there are not enough stereo equipement stores in this area. However, Music Technology and it's principal Doug W. completely drop the ball when it comes to integrity, ethics and honesty, and that is something any prospective customer should heed. Surprising since Doug is an Ivy League educated lawyer. Very sad to see. Steer clear.
Not using them again! I bought two amps online sold as-is. I thought I'd service them just to be sure, so I dropped them off here, paying a $75 deposit a piece. They later called me and told me that they had been serviced recently, and that they were ready for pick-up less than 24 hours after I dropped them off. I picked them up and somehow, two pre-serviced amps cost me $360 to "repair". Not using this place again.
Bad Place! Forget this business..... They charged 410$ for nothing.... I doubt that they don't know anything...when I bring my keyboard to there.... just only one woman..nobody there for my explanation about my keyboard .... the old guy as the guy in the picture just only one to break my stuff.... RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I had a terrible experience using this company and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I sent in a loop pedal I have had for years that started acting up. They shipped it back to me with the SAME problem. I called and inquired about their policy with items that had failed to be fixed, and was confronted by a woman on the other line that was incredibly rude and impatient, and seemed to be personnally offended that I was calling to complain.
