I commenced lessons with 'Riq' several months ago, after last playing keyboard and composing nearly 30 years ago. I was classically trained, as a child and sat AMEB exams however I felt I was missing out on many facets of music theory and I felt that improvisation was the cliff I did not want to jump from. Two words about Henrique Dib the music teacher: The Best. What more needs to be written. Any other words are superfluous really. Music is about Life, and Life is about Music and that, people, is Henrique Dib the music teacher, and for me that is a magnificent feeling.
Lessons with Henrique are often the highlight of my week, and afterwards I feel more inspired and creative. His approach to teaching is very rare and incredibly productive and valuable. His multifaceted background as a film composer, jazz and classical pianist, and experience with electro-acoustics, technology, industry and production means that he can teach me everything that suits my wildly diverse interests and ideas in music!
