Soooo yummy! We love this place. Their menu changed since last time, which I was nice to see for fresh options. The seasonal veg option is a fried eggplant topped with a mayoless slaw and some dipping sauce. It's was amazing. The mint lychee drink is sweet and refreshing for this Summer heat! The soft serve is always dope.
Im so thankful this spot opened up! It’s the perfect location off the beltline in Inman park. So many choices of bao buns & other snacks like the tuna carpaccio 🧑 service was great and it was so lovely to meet the owner who’s been all over the world. Highly recommend their inhouse mango sticky rice ice cream. Also it’s just a cute vibe in there, which adds to the experience
I don’t usually write reviews but had to do it for this place. We often come here to the market and ordered and liked it. BUT today it took 30 mins to get our order (literally we were the first order) because the worker didn’t know we’ve ordered even though the worker actually saw us ordered and printed out the ticket. On top of that the worker seems to be more distracted trying to position her phone to watch something vs asking if we were waiting for something.
I have no idea how this was rated so highly. This was just a food counter in The Works where you order from a kiosk (and yes you’re still asked to tip). Pork belly bao was so tough that I couldn’t bite into it. Would not recommend. Brisket Bao was fine but it was so dry. The fries work okay.
