perfect place to learn, but will be better without family and kids!

It's not what I remember as a kid on field trips. There seem to be fewer interactive exhibits, and more words written on posters you're supposed to read. It's definitely not worth the huge cost.
Sooooo big! Go to the human life exhibit, it has a fun interactive piece!

The membership is absolutely worth it. $80/year and regular admission for adults is $20-ish, which means the membership is already paid after 4 (solo) trips in a year or 2 (duo) trips in a year.
