We danced at "the Zoo" while on vacation through Flagstaff Dec '14. Great band, great venue, and most of all - great people!
It was a nice bar except for being called a "fag" twice by the bartenders buddy twice when I was just ordering a beer. I won't come back to such a backwater bar that apparently values ignorance over the almighty dollar. This bar missed out on over $80 worth of business from my friends and I. Glad to have spent my the majority of my money at a bar nextdoor that wanted my money.
Amazing staff, amazing atmosphere! We had a great time. Plan on visiting every chance we get. Words can't describe how great Jane is, she really makes every visit special!
Stopped to check it out and have a drink. We were ignored for 20 minutes. The waitress even walked over to the booth next to us and stood there chit chatting for over 5 minutes and did not even acknowledge us. We walked out. Stopped to check it out and have a drink. Great memories, 1986 dancing around that tree! Glad to see the "Zoo" hasn't changed!
