Don't trust Muscle Motors machine work! MM line bored the billet mains on my block. On the dyno the engine produced 500hp which was disappointing for this motor. The oil pressure dropping off at 4000 rpm. We separated the Oberg oil filter & found excessive bearing material in it We then dropped the oil pan to find 2 rods roasted. We then took the motor apart to find the crank was damaged. I was lucky that we didn't throw a rod thru the block. Was in a pinch on a set of heads and they took care of my concerns that day. This is the place to go. I had some basic work done at another local shop and it took them 80 days to get my block honed and crank polished. Big thank you to Muscle Motors for squeezing me in and getting my concerns looked at.
The best in the business. They've built numerous engines for me. From circle track, ( late model track champion 1998) boats, and street. I'll drive 1 hour out of my way to go see the guys at Muscle Motors. And we have 3 or 4 performance shops here in my hometown. That should tell you something.
Muscle motors have done many motors for us! Very good work and would highly recommend! They pay attention to detail,listen to what your wishes are for the engine. The job was done perfect,never an issue with any parts or service!
If you need a knowledgable staff and reasonable prices, look no further, Mike and his crew did a great job for me and kept me updated on everything that was going on, the work was done right and you can tell these guys do a great job and do it the right way. There were no corners cut, everything was done as meticulous at I would have done if I had the skills to do it myself. They will absolutely have all my business from here on out.
