i have been seeing james oates, md for many years and count him a colleague as well as provider. he is a patient, kind, and competent physician, and i recommend him wholeheartedly.
The scheduling department for virtual visits is so rude and unprofessional. I was scheduled for a visit with Dr Walters but was called after my appointment was supposed to start and told she was “sick” but I could see a PA later the same day instead. After my appt, I called to ask if I could see Dr.Walter’s for my follow up since that’s who I originally was scheduled with. I wish I could give 0 stars. I went in for an appointment yesterday. He (Dr. Joseph Mctavish) spent a total of 10 minutes with me and did nothing but fat shame me for the duration instead of actually going over my symptoms. Leaving this appointment I was completely distraught. My symptoms were spent under the rug! Advising a patient to “eat fruit and walk and you’ll be okay”.
