I just called cause I wanted to know the price and process of making an appointment as someone who does not have insurance. I had out of state Medicaid, but don’t currently have it. I am in the process of renewing, but the point of calling was to know whether it’s just better to go as uninsured and pay out of pocket and not complete my Medicaid renewal, or do my renewal then make an appointment once I got it. Great Services From All Of The Staff...
I needed help scheduling appointments and Alethie Deas, who works at the scheduling desk, did an exceptional job. She first scheduled my followup appointment, then she went above and beyond to get me an appointment with my eye doctor, which I was unable to do. She was kind, patient, and listened to me. Musc use to be a great hospital. Ever since Covid came in the picture. They have fell off tremendously. You wait at least a week for your pain meds. They respond time suppose to be 48 hrs. If you don’t stay on top of them, you will be in pain for at least a week. I’ve been with them for at least 10+yrs. And I’m DONE with the way they handled the situation/ patients.
