They never answer the phone. They don't call you back when you leave a message. Been waiting over a month to hear about a referral for surgery.

I had a great procedure up until I left. They haven't called in my meds, they don't answer the phone, every person who does answer just says they'll leave a message for the doctor and here I am three hours after surgery having to go to my local ER for severe pain with and exposed bone.wonderful.

I am surprised at the negative reviews, because I had a tumor removed on my gum line the size of a calabash shrimp and this is a recurring nightmare that seems to grow back every five years or so- it’s been removed maybe three times before. MUSC was the third time and this was the first time I had NO pain afterwards. They put some space age material on my gum like synthetic skin and some silver or something and when I came out of being high on dental dope I was absolutely feeling amazing. Sadly phones are never answered, and messages never returned. With a name like MUSC you would think basics like communication would be a fundamental thing....but No. Waste of time. Unfortunate.

I have had nothing but positive experiences at MUSC OMS. From my initial consultation in March of 2022 to my jaw surgery in March of 2023, I have always received excellent care. Dr. Steed & Dr. Coenen listened to all of my questions, built a case for my insurance company which was approved , and assured my anxious mom that everything was going to be ok.
