The Radiology department is incompetent and lazy on all fronts, which is a disservice to patients and ordering providers. As a technologist that worked in multiple radiology departments for 25 years and in multiple states and read thousands of radiology reports. I recently went in for a breast MRI, and while they’re never the most comfortable experience, my tech Joseph really made a difference. He was professional, friendly, and thorough. He also did a great job with my blood draw. Thank you for making the experience smoother—and for the great playlist during the MRI!
The Anesthesiologist and fellows, intern were great but when results from MRI came up on My Chart and scan showed lung collapse, I couldn't get anyone to explain it. I contacted my liver doctor who ordered the MRI with sedation but when questioning what atelectasis was, he referred me to MUSC Radiology. They wouldn't respond. Contacting the board for an explanation about what to do when there is a lung collapse during an MRI with sedation.
I had a nerve block procedure done with Interventional Radiology at 171 Ashley Avenue. From the nurse to the radiologists, the staff was GREAT! I had severe anxiety going in. The radiologist pulled up the images from my MRI and described everything to me in detail as to what was going to happen during the procedure. This place is the worst… when I checked in the Registration clerk was awful not seeing willing to help I was running a little late called asked if I would still be able to come in she answered no you would have to Schedule sense your late I said okay that’s fine can I do that soo first she said the next available appt was the 17 then said oh no you can’t have that appt it will be the 21 so I said okay I went online and there it was the 17th available I don’t know if she did that to be mean but if I missed my appt for somethi... read more
