The person who met me at the door seemed in a rush. She didn’t introduce herself or explain the process. When I explained that I had a Deep Brain Stimulation implant she seemed surprised and said she didn’t know what that was. Then she proceeded to advise me that it was okay to leave it on during the procedure!!!??? The information that I read stated that it should be shut off to avoid damaging the battery implant.
