My son had a wonderful experience with Dr. Eckman. He is an incredibly kind and caring doctor who truly took the time to understand my son's needs. As someone who supports athletes, he demonstrated genuine expertise and compassion. Dr. Ekman and his staff are 1st class! 2 hip replacements and feeling great!
After years of shoulder pain I decided to have Reverse Shoulder Replacement. I went to Dr. Ekman and was able to have my surgery done within a week. The surgery went very well and I was without pain right away. I feel 20 years younger after six weeks. Dr. Ekman is the best! I would also like to say that the surgical staff at MUSC Chester was excellent as well as the staff on the surgical floor. I was in the hospital overnight.
Dr. Evan Eckman is the absolute best orthopedic surgeon in this area hands down. He was realistic with me about my surgical outcome and stressed the importance of me doing my part after he completed my right total knee replacement. I had surgery on March 11th and will be returning to work on Monday, May 5th. I have been pain free for about 3 weeks now. Thank you Dr. Eckman for giving me back my ability to walk pain free.
