I saw my hematologist, Mary Kistler, FNP, Blood & Lymphatic Cancer, Hematology/Oncology at MUSC Hollings Cancer Center this past Tuesday 10/7 for the 3rd time for my Leukemia blood cancer treatment. To the doctor who thought it would be a good idea for my sister to undergo chemo "just in case" after successful surgery: Please consult with other doctors for patients who has an auto immune disease. My sister died from pneumonia and secondary complications from chemo due to immune system being nil. Dr. Suess could have seen this as high risk.
