I absolutely 💯 love MUSC so on point with everything and the worker are pleasant, professional and kind.
If there was an option for 0 stars that’s what it would be! I am extremely disappointed with my experience trying to receive care through MUSC. On July 28, I was seen at Charleston GI after swallowing a crab shell. After an evaluation, including an endoscopy through my nose and X-rays, they determined I needed to be seen urgently by a MUSC surgeon because of my insurance. Have been going here for 4 years. Had a great doctor and then she retired. I was put with another doctor who is now out until further notice. ??? Got new insurance and it’s been 2 weeks and I can’t get anyone to authorize my prescription. I’ve called and messaged multiple times. I will now be going elsewhere. Don’t recommend.
Dr Rajala did a amazing job on this procedure. His care team and expertise was really outstanding. Quality of swallowing food has improved dramatically.
