Was in and out in 10 minutes. Fastest blood draw experience of my life. Eraina (sp?) was so quick and kind! AND the results came through on the app like an hour later. Thank you!
If you get dizzy/pass out easily at blood draws/have a vasovagal response, pick a different lab. This lab does not have any way for patients to lie down or have any juice to give to someone who has passed out. If I can lie down, I don't have any issue with blood draws at all. But today they insisted that just putting my feet up on a trash can would be good enough and I completely passed out despite telling them repeatedly that it would not be enough. They were nice enough but I will not be back for labs here.
Went at about 9:30am and was called back within a few short minutes. Quickest experience for bloodwork EVER. Could've left the car running. The person who drew blood did a fine job as well.
I have always had my labs drawn here at the MUSC Midtown location. For a very busy lab, the wait time was not long and the lab technicians are very good with the sticks. Hardly no pain felt at all!
