Im very critical of the care my children receive from medical centers. My 8yo type 1 diabetic son came here with severe abdominal cramping but was totally fine once we walked through the door. Despite his sudden shift, the staff listened to me and respected me, offered my son great care, treatment and did all the appropriate testing. Very impressed with both the resident and the er doc. The nurses were fabulous too!! Now, just waiting on radiology dept for an U/S!
We had to visit the ER after my son suffered a burn, and I can’t say enough about how well we were treated. The staff was kind, attentive, and acted quickly to make sure he was comfortable and properly cared for. They explained everything clearly and helped ease what was a very stressful situation for our family. We’re truly grateful for the compassion and professionalism we experienced.
The room we were placed in had dirty linen on the bed and a cart full of “soiled linen”. It sucks that this is the only pediatric ER in the low country..
Inconsistent toxic er filled with so called medical "professionals " I had 2 experiences here. 1 was very good, drs tried to help me and we were treated like humans. We left with a plan and hospital followed up for outpatient surgery. This took a bit and we were trying to wait. However my kids condition kept getting worse so I took her back for our second visit. El peor servicio recibido en mi vida, llegó con mi hijo con temperatura de 104 de fiebre con una condición especial que tiene, Síndrome Down y para estos payasos eso no es emergencia 1 hora después es que se tomaron la molestia de prestarnos atención por tuve que levantar la voz, esto es un problema mundial la falta de criterio de los médicos al momento de tratarse de una emergencia… y de paso cuando comento mi descontento una de las doctoras me da la escalada despectivamente sin prestar atención a lo que digo, donde estudia... read more
