Great sushi, ambiance, wonderful service.
I was really expecting better with a 4.8 rating. It was dark and hot inside when we arrived. There was only one person working. She was brisk but not rude, certainly not welcoming. The water available was room temperature, no ice. She said the ice machine was broken and the AC only works when it's cold outside. She served my husband his food well before mine, and he was nearly finished by the time I got my food. The food was okay. Overall very bad experience, will never go back.
It was quiet, the people working there (seems to be the owner and son?) were very friendly and kind. I asked for smaller cuts of the musashi’s roll and they did so. The roll itself was light in spice, very fresh and very good! Definitely will return.
Ordered Togo after reading some reviews. I don’t know if I just had an unlucky order but the rolls were all very mediocre. The photos others have shown for “maki’s” looked full of fish and well made. But the ones I received looked like there was no effort and small bits of protein only. Spicy tuna was on the sweeter side, salmon was alright, tuna and albacore smelled fishy. It sucks because I love making rolls.
Very pleasant atmosphere near Domino’s. I got the chicken curry and the mushroom skewer, really really good. This a legit regular stop. 6/30 I really miss Musashi’s, someone talked them to moving to Santa Barbara.
