Dog run close
It should be a beautiful park, but NYC Park and the city do nothing to keep the park clean and safe. As a result, dogs are regularly injured, there are rocks and metal sticking out of the ground, it's so dirty that you come out covered in a layer of earth and dust every time you go out there
Good place to take your dogs there to play with their fur friends from the friendly neighborhood.
Update: it's amazing how quickly all the mulch got destroyed at this park. It's now dirt and exposed rocks. Not a good place to bring your dog anymore, they are likely to hurt themselves in all the rocks. They should really update this park with pavement or turf This dog park has become great with the upgrades. We live much closer to the Vernon Blvd Park and we come here anyway. Hopefully the Vernon Blvd Park takes the same path and replaces the disgusting gravel and mud with mulch
Very nice dog community, but be prepared to take home a very dirty dog 😂
