I toured the place, seem nice, applied and denied because I smoke nicotine at work. I don't even smoke at home because I have two little children. I explained to them that I only smoke at work and they still denied me. They don't allow residents even if they don't smoke on the premises. Even if they don't smoke at all but smoked previously before. They will still deny. When I toured I have noticed residents smoking cigarettes or vapes and brought it to their attention.
