don't delegate to vendors issues related to the home
I have a house that is 4 years old. Gutters flow the wrong way and create leaks at the end cap. Very poor craftsmanship. This should be covered under warranty
We have had the unfortunate experience of being neighbors to a homesite Murray Franklyn developed. Early on in the process, our fence was damaged and a significant amount of gravel was dumped over the fence and onto our property. Repeated calls to the office have resulted in no action, other than them saying they did not cause the damage. We bought home 3 years back from Murray Franklyn and we are regretting the decision. After closing the home, the service request for 1 year warranty was not done in time and the builder was trying to cut corners. After 3 years we have a major leak at master bath and guest bath and MF refused to fix it. This is our second home. The first home we owned for 7 years and never had such issues . RecommendedPurchased a Murray Franklyn home on the Plateau in the Trossachs community in 2012. We loved our home - from the quality of the build to the craftsmanship in the details. The layout and design was perfect for our family of 5!
Do yourself a favor and make sure the appliances aren’t Electrolux. When you buy a home that’s in the millions, you expect the appliances to last more than a few months. Homes are fine however their appliance vendor of choice has been nothing but trouble.
Great quality homes. We are very impressed with the way that they have dealt with the small defects / repairs that are covered under the warranty. The staff and contractors that they use are all friendly and easy to communicate with. We are very happy with our home and we highly recommend them. Thank you.
