Lots of fun This is a really fun bar and restaurant. They have good drinks with a lot of local brews which is great. They also have a trivia night which is very popular and tons of fun!
Try their double lobster special Murphy's is fun and the food is good too. I had one of my best lobster dinners there when I was visiting some friends in Hanover. It was not expensive either. The atmosphere is very laid-back college town- definitely a good choice if you're in the area.
Murphy's On The Green is expensive and not worthwhile murphy's is one of the few places in hanover, which is one of the more heavily trafficked towns north of boston. the food is no better than satisfactory, though, and it is expensive for the type of place that it is. it is nearly impossible to avoid murphy's if you live in the area, but I always try to. it is usually difficult to get a table on a weekend night, too boot.
We went to Murphy's on my Graduation day. Its location is awesome – right on the main street and the 2nd closest to the Green (1st is Pine inside Hanover Inn). Food is great too. However, they need better waiters/waitresses. We heard them laughing and making fun of one of us's name (they got it from the credit card). That was very rude.
