I was in today and their service was horrible!!I will never go there again
I have been making my purchases at Murphy's for approximately 7 years. I've never had any issues with the staff, they were helpful with my questions, and seemed very knowledgeable! I live out of town, so I drop in and chit chat for a bit! when I'm in town. They always make my wife and I feel at home there! They have a wide selection of guns and nice vintage weapons as well! Very poor personalities working there, Last week I went in to purchase a M&p shield, gave the guy my ccw, license, picked out ammo, holster, blah, blah, blah, Spent about $500.00 there in 3 minutes and not even a Thank You, How freekin sad, You walk in, some very cool vintage stuff around, you feel like you are bothering them, What a weird feeling, I for one will not come back, I will go to Second Amendment, at least you get a smile from people there. Know what you're talking about before you show up..
Went in there store talked to dave and was treated fantastic, in three weeks i bought 5 handguns and my wife bought 1 her first in 20 years. Make sure you talk to dave. Also bought 1 handgun scope and he took the time to show me how to install it, he opened up the rings and screws and assembed it together. Will always be a customer, Thanks.

I had to come back and edit my previous review after my most recent visit to their shop. I will not patronize any shop that disarms their lawfully carrying (concealed or open) customers just to have the privilege of shopping there. Also, any self respecting firearms store would not refer to military pattern semi-auto rifles as "assault weapons". As if that isn't bad enough, they won't do transfers for any so-called "assault weapon" and, if you want to purchase one from them, you are limited to purchasing only one! Politics a... read more
