These guys know how to treat people. If you want a great hometown shop with great prices and the kind of customer service we don’t see much anymore, go to Murphy’s. They also have a thoughtful selection of designer fabrics at the lowest prices I have ever paid.

The needle housing broke off my sewing machine. Before I took it in to Murphy, I priced replacements online, so I'd know if the repair cost was worth it. $88 is the replacement cost for a basic machine. When I dropped it off just before closing yesterday, they told me they'd call if the repair were over $85. So I knew they also know the replacement cost. When they called me just after opening this morning to say it was ready to be picked up, I knew it must've been a simple repair. And yet, they charged me exactly $85. Lesson... read more

This December 2023 I am thankful for this business. We took in our vacuum not sure what was wrong and in 24 hours all questions answered. We were able to trade in our old model for a new one. Customer service excellent. Very patient staff whose expertise our family needed and appreciated.
