I am a former nurse and specialist in rehabilitation. I am informed by the telephone lady I may not see Dr Murphy just yet... since I am not a pain cancer pt with a ear tumor. I am not important enough. I am a pt of his since 2000 and I was not treated even then. He MADE recommendations and never followed up. Little did front desk lady know.... Dr. Murphy is an excellent and professional doctor. I did have many operation for a serious issues, and everything always went very well with Dr. Murphy. I have seen other specialists in the past, and Dr. Murphy is the best. Do not hesitate to consult with this excellent doctor.
DR Murphy was involved first in my care in 2000 And did not follow through on recommendations. LATER again referred again for a ear problem Did not do an assessment or follow through on recommendation that he would. during this time I experienced emotional abuse through his front desk clerk. HE was contacted enroute to a ENT in london Ontario. HE REALIZED HIS idea of being appropriate was not correct when I was allowed to begin the complaints process. To be clear, Dr Murphy as a person would get 4 stars. One star is missing because he does nothing about his horrible receptionist. Medically, he's an easy five. I enjoyed seeing him. His bedside manor is excellent, as are his operating skills. Edit Response. I appreciate the response. I understand dealing with the public can be awful.
