Our story started when Frederick Murphy came to Pembroke, Ontario to goal tend for the Pembroke Lumber Kings. After taking a slap shot to the eye, his hockey career came to an abrupt end. Having sold vehicles in the off season for McCool Motors, he decided to open a Ford dealership, as hockey and cars were what he knew best. While on vacation with my five grandchildren, the AC belt on my F150 broke. The temperature was 32C. Murphy Ford took the truck in immediately and had it fixed first thing the next morning. I am totally appreciative and impressed by the high quality service personnel at this dealership.
