I applied online for credit approval seeking to purchase a vehicle. Murphy Ford submitted my information to over eight banks for approval! Once, expected. *****, questionable. Over eight times without consulting me or anything is ridiculous! Now leaving nine hard inquiries on my credit report!
Murphy Ford service department is both dishonest and incompetent. They told me two months ago that my car needed a new flexplate, the parts came in a week ago. I dropped my car off and no one touched it for a week. Finally they put a scope on my car and said it didn't need the flex plate. I drove away and found my car to be very loud and have no acceleration when it was previously quiet and fast. He was so eager to buy his first truck that he didn't realize that the sales contract was $5,000 above the price that had been quoted to him several times, and which was listed on the truck's sticker. Too bad I wasn't there to catch the mistakes. Deceitful sales practices, counting on client trust, and no one called me back to discuss the situation.
