He is outstanding. Actually talks to as a person and not just a patient. He explains things very well and draws diagrams to help. He is very encouraging and really wants you to do well. He doesn’t get upset if you slip a little—just encourages you more. He really tries to get you on the best med for you and tries to keep them at a minimum. He knows the best places to help save money. He is a great and I drive 65 miles to see him and pay him even though I could find a doctor to use my insurance. He is the very best.
He is one of the few dr. That really care about his patients he is a little expensive but when you need him he is there. He front desk people need a personality check but over all worth it
Dr Murphy is great!! we don't mind waiting for him when he's running behind because we know we will get the same amount of time. Dr. Murphy started treating our son for migraines after seeing 3 pediatric neurologists and 2 neurosurgeons and has found a solution. He no longer lives in misery daily. I would recommend him over any doctor I have ever seen. I don't know how his brain can hold so much knowledge!!!
Dr. Murphy is not your topical doctor. He is best known for the time he spends with his patients. Diagrams & all. He is really good at listening to his patients & getting to the root of the problem. Been a loyal patient for 8 yrs.

After my first appointment with, NP Alexis Yoo, I feel thankful and optimistic. I was very impressed by her knowledge, openness, and helpful way of being. She listened to me and I left with steps to take to get my health back on track. For the first time, in a long time, I am looking forward to a follow up visit!
I have been with Dr. Derek Murphy for over 5 years now and he is the best Doctor I've ever been a patient for. He is professional thorough and has a great sense of humor! Most importantly is that he discovered my husbands throat cancer and was quick to get us where we needed to be. Thankfully my husband is a 5 year survivor of stage 4 throat cancer! Wouldn't want any other Dr!
