Great food and very good music. Not one complain except, not enough tables for the number of people trying to get in.
My first time trying Murky Waters. The wings were good. The brisket had really good flavor and was tender, but a tad dry. I had a bone or two of my wife's ribs and they were very tasty. Their baked beans were way above average. My side salad was good but I'll ask for it on a plate next time. My knife cut right through the paper liner in the bottom of the plastic basket! Overall, I'll definitely go back!
Reason I don't give it 5 stars is because they run out of burnt ends fast, ok they get 5 stars. Just a great place to get the 3 B's, beer BBQ, and Blues when they schedule the bands.
Yesterday at lunch time they were out of burnt ends so I ordered the combo with pork and brisket. I got an okay portion of pork but two tiny strips of brisket as big as my index finger for over $15. Never offered a refill on my drink even as I sat and ate the ice out of my empty glass. There was one other table of two inside eating and a table of two outside, so it wasnt because they were too busy. Not impressed. It tasted okay but nothing like KC bbq.
Best wings we have ever had and the best service on the coast!!
Burnt Ends. Nuff said. Except the fact that I have to type 50 characters to make this a legitimate rating, so cool atmosphere and music too!
Good stuff. Would recommend and plan to revisit!!!
