I’ve been a patient of Dr Gulati for years and I was really lucky to find him. After a few sessions of getting properly tested to ensure being on the same medication as I was in my childhood was the right decision for my circumstances, my ADHD was back on track almost immediately. They’ll encourage you to spend money at your GP on a referral, only to refuse you an appointment bc the psych concerned “isn’t accepting previous diagnoses”, meaning the $1200 already spent on a formal / official assessment is not good enough and they will only accept you if you agree to be re-assessed at great expense. What a rort.
Was told he “legally” needed school reports or written statements from my parents to get a diagnosis of adhd. I was 36 so impossible on both accounts. Didn’t offer any other options like a cognitive test. Dr Vish Gulati just had the “too bad attitude” Was very dismissive and generally unhelpful and just couldn’t wait get me out of his office.
