Independently-owned and operated since 1996, munkabeans has been serving excellent coffee, espresso, tea, sandwiches, salads, wraps, smoothies, ice cream, and baked goods (made in-house). We serve a cafe lunch menu & breakfast all day! The atmosphere has a funky retro feel with lots of local art on the walls. Great outdoor patio out front & in the back.

Catchy name The name is just the beginning of this cafe'. The food and beverages are very good, presented well and do not cost an arm and a "munkabean". Highly recommended and easy to get to.
Bad service – They lose track of orders easily and don't do much to correct this once it's pointed out to them.

Relaxing but fun – Very nice place. Lots of art that is always changing. The coffee is great and the food is fresh. Really great people hang out there, too. My favorite place to get coffee between Mpls and Waconia.
Artistic food – I've been here numerous times for lunch. I always get some kind of sandwich made fresh in front of me. I have never been dissappointed. They have unique offerings that you simply have to try for yourself. In addition, they have this fantastic peanut butter/chocolate rice krispy thing.
