Based on comments about Dr. Salem, I booked two appointments (sister and myself). They sent us to the Elizabeth City office where we saw A female Dr. that was the most inadequete Dr. I've ever experienced!! Very disappointed!!
I trusted Dr. Salem when he suggested I needed surgery on my big toe. I had the surgery which consisted of fusing my toe and said it would solve my problem. Months later my toe wouldn't heal with repeated visits. Dr. Salem wanted to go back in and perform surgery on it again. I had lost all trust after so many explanations. I finally found another doctor who would take me after Dr. Salems screw up. He went back in and removed the mess that had been put in my toe by Salem. Dr. Salem is a kind and caring doctor always taking time to listen to what you want to talk about or if you have a concern. He is very thorough in checking your feet and toes and toenails and helping to get bad toenails much better.
Really nice doctor with a great staff! Dr. Salem makes time for his patients when it’s needed, and his staff takes the time to call you back when they say they will! Highly recommended!
