Joseph, Darby, and the rest of the team at Munich Motorworks are stellar performers. I purchased a 1984 BMW E30 from Joseph back in August and it has never let me down since I bought it, and when it was time to replace the suspension and windshield, Joseph provided a great value for the labor and the car still looks and runs great. Whenever I hear an odd sound (40 year old car) or come across something that might worry me, the team at Munich Motorworks is always there to have my back if I need to bring it in for peace of min... read more

I recommend Munich to anyone who owns a vintage car. Not only are the mechanics very knowledge, they also take great care of every car and customer that comes in. I am new to old cars and I love that they are always happy to explain and educate me on the repairs. The owner Darby has a ton of experience to share and will go the extra mile to find parts or solutions. This is a welcoming shop that does a solid job every time. Check them out! 10/10

Brought my 1973 BMW 2002 in to Munich Motorworks a few times. First time was for a consult on the doors. Second time was due to car not getting out of 1st gear without stalling; had to tow it that time. Had them take care of a minor engine wiring issue causing stalling. Then they got my passenger door to a temporary functional level while they tracked down parts to complete a full repair. Passenger side door was rusted shut, frozen, they got it opened. I brought it in a third time they fixed and/or replaced the window regu... read more

I brought in a new to me Macan to look at the suspension. Colin took 30 minutes out of his day to test drive the car with me. We had discussed $3,000 to $7,000 suspension mods on the phone, but his subsequent recommendation was simply to replace the OEM tires. I appreciate the honesty instead of going right for the big ticket job. If I decide to do more, I will definitely visit this shop again.

Not great! I took my daughter’s BMW X3 to figure out what was going on with the alternator… brand new alternator still not capable of holding a charge on a brand new battery. After multiple days in the shop, and a quote of over $1000 in “diagnostic work”- I was only told what was NOT wrong with the car(all of which I told them when I dropped off the car). When asked if they tested the alternator, which was what I came in for- NO. But they recommend I try to install a different alternator! WHAT?! In the end, I installed a $40... read more
