Amelie and co. bring truly authentic and much needed German baking and cooking to Vancouver. Every other cuisine imaginable is represented in Vancouver, but there is surprisingly little in the way of good German cuisine. With a focus on classic Bavarian foods, MunChi foods is the real deal. We placed a corporate order of pretzels and apfelstrudel and couldn’t have been happier. The pretzels were the best I’ve had outside of Germany—absolutely incredible! The apfelstrudel was also delicious and a big hit with the team. Amelie was super responsive, accommodating, and made the whole process effortless. Everything worked out perfectly, and I’m very much looking forward to ordering again soon.
These pretzels are the closest thing to home I have found. Amelie is so kind and easy to order from. I like to order the frozen pretzel rolls and that way I can have them available throughout the week. Perfectly balanced to be crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I’m so thankful I found this place and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic German pretzels.
