Real gumbo in Portland, what a treat, reasonably priced and spiced just right. I had the trinity with chicken, sausage and delicious jumbo shrimp.

Wish I would have slowed down long enough o take a picture… The gumbo is legit - okra and all - yum! And do not skip on the collard greens, which would make my grandma proud. Overall this place is a 5 out of 5, and the service was amazing 🤩
A welcome treat. I have a hard time finding good soul food and gumbo here in Portland but Mumbo Gumbo nails it. Good portions and cornbread that's just the right amount of sweet. It'll never beat my Mama's cornbread but it's a close second.
