I just have to give a shout out to the team in the dental office, especially Ebony the dental hygienist! She is beyond kind, gentle, and wonderful to work with! Everyone at this office works really hard to serve a lot of people in our community
Went to the dental clinic a while back with an extremely bad toothache and was accused of wanting opioids by the dental assistant.
I had an appointment with the psychiatric nurse, Marilyn Hargett, and I didn’t feel fully heard during my visit. I came in with concerns about serious side effects from my medication and clearly told her that I didn’t want to take medication anymore. Instead of discussing a tapering plan or alternatives, she told me to simply switch to a different medication — without talking through what that would feel like or what the risks were, especially since the medication I’m on is long-acting and not easy to just stop.
