I was sent home while pregnant and in critical condition—and they didn't do anything to help me.
I wanted to share something from my recent visit to Tacoma General ER. I was really sick and got admitted, and my nurse was Matisse At first, I thought her very direct way of talking was just her personality. But she had a student nurse with her that day, and what I saw didn’t feel right. The nurse said student’s name and student introduced herself, I observed she didn’t teach her anything, and acted like she wasn’t even there. We haven't had our experience yet but the doors were closed and it was 24/7 access?
Extremely long waits no matter how many people there are. The nurses will forget everything you say the second you say it and not bring you the things you need or ask for. They offered few solutions and created more problems for my son and family.
You will wait for 5hrs + for them to dismiss you after your bloodwork and treat you in the lobby!!!! The nurses seem like they just want to get rid of people in the waiting room
